30 May Economic Development Committee Members Making a Move

TICONDEROGA | The Town of Ticonderoga took a more proactive approach to economic development during its January meeting, forming an economic development committee and making plans to apply for a $10 million Downtown Revitalization Initiative grant.
Incoming Supervisor Mark Wright had emphasized his belief that the town should take a lead role in economic development, while in the past it had relied on multiple nonprofit groups, including the chamber of commerce, Ti Alliance, PRIDE and the Ticonderoga Main Street Partnership to take the lead.
