North Country Rural Development (NRDC) Coalition is a non-profit organization established in 1984 for the purpose of connecting and enhancing our Tri-County service area through housing restoration, downtown revitalization, historic preservation, and community development programs.
North Country Rural Development Coalition proudly serves communities across Essex, Warren, and Washington Counties, providing housing, community development, revitalization, and technical assistance programs that strengthen rural communities and support local residents, property owners, and municipalities.
In addition to our core three-county service area, NRDC is now also administering the Vacant Rental Program in Clinton and Hamilton Counties only. This expansion allows us to support more rural communities facing housing shortages by helping bring vacant and underutilized rental units back into safe, code-compliant, long-term residential use.
Our work remains rooted in rural community development, housing stability, and local revitalization, with a focus on practical solutions that meet the unique needs of North Country communities.
