11 Jul Wash. Co CDBG Project 1- Greenwich
North Country Rural Development Coalition is actively seeking bids for our next Washington County CDBG home rehabilitation project. These projects help ensure low to moderate-income and senior families in our community can remain in their homes, have a safe place to live and align with our mission to improve living conditions and enhance the quality of life for families in the North Country. We hope that you will consider placing a bid for this upcoming project.
This project involves extensive rehabilitation of a 1400 sq. ft. single-family home built in the 1950s as a commercial garage/residence. This structure features a block foundation and frame. Utilities are overhead power supply, private water and sewer. The home needs a new roof(s), new central HVAC system or mini split system, resolution of plumbing issues (domestic), 5 windows replaced, installation of a water filtration system, insulation added to the attic, electrical wiring, ceiling work, and bathroom renovation. A new well and septic were recently added to the home.
To participate in the bidding process, please provide a comprehensive breakdown of costs related to labor and materials for each project segment. The winning contractor should be prepared to provide NRDC with their current Liability Insurance, Worker’s Compensation and Lead Renovators certification upon being awarded the bid. Contractors new to working with NRDC will also be required to fill out a Contractor Application.
If you have any questions regarding the project, please reach out to our office at 518-585-6366.
**This is a HUD Section 3 Project with contracting priorities for businesses that hire or are owned by low-income persons.
