Project Overview
This project involves the rehabilitation of two (2) vacant, non-code-compliant residential units located on the second floor of the subject property. The CDBG-funded scope is strictly limited to addressing critical life-safety and habitability deficiencies, specifically the installation of permanent heating and cooling systems serving the second floor and the construction of code-compliant fire escape(s) and related egress improvements. Completion of this work will allow the units to meet applicable building and fire code requirements and be returned to safe, affordable occupancy.
All work occurring within residential areas shall be performed by a certified lead-safe contractor. A final lead-based paint clearance test shall be conducted upon completion of the CDBG-funded work.
