RFP: Portable Ice Rink Chiller System

North Country Rural Development Coalition is actively seeking bids for an Adirondack Park Community Smart Growth project funded by the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation.

This project involves the purchase and installation of a refrigeration system for a 65’ x 125’ seasonal outdoor ice rink. The scope of services includes supplying, delivering, and installing portable ice chillers to provide ice in weather under 50°F. Any necessary upgrades to the electrical service and water service will be completed prior to connecting the chillers.

Bids will be accepted until November 1, 2024 at 12:00 P.M. Bid awards will be announced five business days after the deadline. If you are not interested in bidding on this project, please let us know by the deadline and we will remove you from the contact list for this project.

To participate in the bidding process, please provide a comprehensive breakdown of costs related to each project segment. We also require each bidder to sign a non-collusion certification statement. The winning contractor should be prepared to provide NRDC with their current Liability Insurance upon being awarded the bid.
