The Ticonderoga Food Pantry needs our help now more than ever. With a record number of 99 families relying on the pantry in May alone and donations at an all-time low, the situation is critical.

Margaret Beuerlein, a dedicated volunteer of 25 years, has shared that the pantry is facing serious financial issues. “Our donations dropped off a few months ago and have not picked up,” she revealed. The pantry, located in the basement of the First United Methodist Church on Wicker Street, serves thousands annually and needs our support to continue its vital work.

How you can help

  1. Gather your non-perishable food donations.
  2. Bring your donations to either Snug Harbor Marina North or Snug Harbor Marina South any day of the week between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Come by car or by boat – there are donation bins on the Gas Dock at both locations.
  3. For every item donated, we will match it with an equivalent donation.
  4. We will deliver all collected and matched donations to the Ti Food Pantry.

To make a food donation directly to the Ticonderoga Food Pantry: they are open on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m.

To make a monetary donation: please make checks payable to the Ticonderoga Food Pantry and send them to 1045 Wicker St., Ticonderoga, N.Y. 12883.

The food pantry is open to those in need of emergency relief Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 11 a.m. until noon
