This project involves extensive rehabilitation of a 1334 sq. ft. single-family home with 3 beds and 1.5 baths in Whitehall. This home had a few significant issues related to possible asbestos. The home is currently sided with a possible hazardous product that needs to be addressed. The issues on the home’s exterior are replacing the slate roof, addressing the siding, repairing multiple egresses, and repairing both porches. As for the inside, the electrical distribution and main have to be updated. The downstairs bathroom will be renovated to include new insulation, flooring, and heat distribution. The basement has an old out-of-service end tap oil tank that should be removed and disposed of. The basement stairs need to meet code, and the exterior door is to be replaced. Many windows upstairs do not meet current energy standards and will need to be replaced. The kitchen cabinets are broken and falling off the wall. Partial renovation of the kitchen to include a new floor, cabinets, and countertop.
